100 Books to read before leaving Year 6

Hello and a big welcome to Year 6. from Miss Gorwood and Mr Jones.

We understand, as the final stepping stone to Secondary School commences, that this year seems a big year for you and the children. However, do not fear: you are in good hands. We will help the children to be Secobdary School ready and, as always we do have high expectations of them but are never too far away to catch if you need any support with this.

We understand that success comes from being happy; and happiness comes from being successful! With that in mind, we endeavour to marry the two and make learning as fun and rewarding as possible!

Please see below for our curriculum topics and browse our homework and information page further to see more details about what your children will be learning. There are also links providing extra homework and support. If you have any queries or want to get in touch please come and see us; put a note in your child’s planner; or give us a call and we’ll be happy to help!
